Albert Castellana Lluís and his team are developing GenLayer, a blockchain-based decision-making system designed to arbitrate on-chain disputes. The protocol functions as a neutral "court" for controversial settlements in prediction markets like Polymarket, DAO governance conflicts, or insurance contract executions.
GenLayer employs multiple coordinated AIs to reach consensus on subjective decisions, mimicking judicial reasoning. "We’re using a blockchain that has multiple AIs coordinate and reach agreement on subjective decisions, as if they were a judge," Castellana explained. The system could bring formalized dispute resolution to decentralized ecosystems lacking traditional legal frameworks.
